Sea to Summit Issues Voluntarily Recall on Camp Pots

Sea to Summit has issued a voluntary recall of the Alpha and Sigma camp pots and will provide a field replacement latch to remedy all affected product.

A potential safety hazard has been identified with the second generation of the Alpha and Sigma pot range that features a black nylon latch. If the latch is not engaged properly, it can create the possibility of the pot becoming unstable, which could cause the pot’s contents to spill unexpectedly.

Owners of Alpha or Sigma Pots should stop using the pot immediately if it has a black Nylon latch without a screw located under the pot handle. Please visit Sea to Summit’s product safety page for more information and to assist in identifying Alpha or Sigma Pots affected by this recall.

Affected customers can request free replacement latches at no cost here; https://seatosummitusa.com/pages/product-safety
